This course is intended for practitioners directly involved in the planning and support of young people, including those with special educational needs (SEN) and complex needs, who will transition to adult care and support, and their carers. It will also be beneficial to specialist information and advice workers, including managers of both types of roles. Managers and commissioners in local authorities with a responsibility for the provision and market development of services for young people who will transition to adult care and support, and their carers, should also consider this training.
