At eLearning Marketplace Ltd we are dedicated to safeguarding and preserving your privacy when visiting our site or communicating electronically with us. We strictly adhere to the Data Protection Act 1998, Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018. This Privacy Policy, together with our terms of use, provides an explanation as to what happens to any personal data that you provide to us, or that we collect from you.
Personal Data is data that identifies you or can be used to identify or contact you, and typically includes name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth and billing and credit card information.
eLearning Marketplace uses third party vendors and hosting partners, who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential, to deliver our products and services.
Although we have implemented strict measures in line with data protection legislation to protect your personal data, including using data encryption, we cannot guarantee the security of the data that you transmit to us, and any transmission is at your own risk. eLearning Marketplace will not be held liable for adverse consequences that result from you transmitting data.

1. Website Data Security
We take the safety of your data very seriously, so to ensure that your data is kept secure during transmission our website uses SSL certificates that encrypts all information sent by you to us and from our website to you.

In operating our website, the Online Training Academy and Licence Manager we may collect and process the following information about you:
2.1 Anonymous information
Anonymous statistical information about your visits to our website and the resources that you access, including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data.

Information that you provide by filling in forms on our website, such as when you register on the site, make a purchase, request information or subscribe to our monthly e-newsletter.

Information provided to us for the purposes of delivering online training to you which has been purchased by you, or for you by a third party.
We have integrated the Trusted Shops Trustbadge on this website in order to display the reviews collected using the Trusted Shops system. The Trustbadge and the advertised trust badge services are offered by Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne, Germany.
With every use of the Trustbadge, the Trusted Shops web server automatically saves a server log file which contains e.g. your IP address, the date and time of the request, the volume of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data), and documents the request. This data is not analysed and is automatically overwritten no later than seven days after the end of your website visit.
Other personal data is transferred to Trusted Shops only if you decide to use or have already registered to use Trusted Shops products after placing an order. In such a case, the contract between you and Trusted Shops applies.

If you make a purchase our third party payment provider may require additional personal information. This information, which is required to process your payment, is not collected or stored by us. We do not store credit or debit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties, unless it is for the purpose of delivering the product or service you have purchased. During the payment process you will be able to read the payment providers privacy terms.
3. Tracking Technologies
Technologies such as cookies, beacons, tags and scripts are used by us to gather information to provide statistical information regarding the use of our website. Such information will not identify you personally, it is statistical data about our visitors and their use of our site. It’s purpose is to verify login status, improve customer service, provide data on trends, track visitors movements around the website, detect and deter fraud all with the aim or providing visitors with a safe, positive experience when using our website.
Similarly to the above, we may gather information about your general internet use by using a cookie file. Where used, these cookies are downloaded to your computer automatically. 4. Storage and Use of Your Information
The information that we collect and securely store relating to you is primarily used to enable us to provide you with the products and services that you have purchased. Details of how we use your information is as follows:
4.1 ‘One working day access’ order
To enable your order to be completed successfully and your training account to be setup, your name, email address and telephone number will be stored and passed to the supplier of the products that you purchase. This information is used for the purpose of enrolling you on the course/s you have purchased, emailing you your access details and providing any required tutor support. We are not responsible for the actions of the product supplier in relation to data protection, however we have viewed their privacy policy to ensure compliance with GDPR legislation.
4.2 ‘Immediate access’ order
To enable your order to be completed successfully and your training account to be setup, your name, email address and telephone number are stored securely by us. Your name and email address are used for the purpose of setting up your training account, enrolling you on the course/s you have purchased, emailing you your enrolment details, providing tutor support and maintaining your training records. Your telephone number is only used for the purpose of contacting you regarding your purchase or providing support.
4.3 Awarding organisation accredited courses
If you are undertaking an online course accredited by an awarding organisation, we are required to collect additional personal information for the course provider, in the form of date of birth and address. This is to enable the course provider to apply for your certificate from the awarding organisation and is not used for any other purpose.
4.4 Information requested
4.4.1 To provide you with information that you request relating to our products or services we will securely store your name, email address and telephone number. Your information will be deleted three months after your engagement with us ceases, unless you become a customer.
4.4.2 To send our monthly e-newsletter we will store your name, email address and company, but only when you have consented to receive the newsletter.
4.5 Contractual commitments
To enable us to meet our contractual commitments to you.
4.6 For accounting purposes
To enable us to maintain accounting records as required by law.
4.7 Direct debit account holders
To process automated payments by direct debit we use a third party, Go Cardless, to collect payments. In setting up a direct debit account with Go Cardless you agree to their terms and conditions and privacy policy, which is clearly available to you when you complete the setup form.
4.8 Notifications
To notify you about any maintenance or down time of our website, Online Training Academy or Licence Manager.
