Course Objectives

This Electrical Safety online course will:

• Make employees aware of the main dangers associated with the misuse of electrical equipment
• Advise on common electrical hazards in the workplace
• Explain how to work safely around electricity and avoid electric shocks and fires
• Teach Basic First Aid for dealing with minor electric shock and burns

Target Audience

Suitable for all employees, but can be deployed specifically to maintenance or facility employees and contractors. The course can include the location of emergency switches and isolating devices.

A RoSPA Approved Course

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation, vet and approve health and safety training courses, giving learners increased confidence.  The RoSPA stamp of approval gives organisations the confidence that a training course has been rigorously assessed and meets the RoSPA approved standards.
