Description
Typhoid fever, sometimes known an enteric fever, is a systemic infection caused by the gram-negative bacillus Salmonella entrica serovar (S.typhi). In this course you will learn what typhoid fever is, how it is transmitted, and how to recognise and gage the severity of its symptoms. The course also covers treatment and explains the two typhoid vaccinations available in the UK.
