Description
No matter what type of business employees work in, organisations have a responsibility to provide adequate fire safety training. This course is ideal for any grade of colleague, including supervisor/manager grades, and would also serve as refresher training for established colleagues, or as introductory learning for new starters.
If the person is responsible for fire risk assessments, or fire evacuation procedures, a Fire Warden training course is required instead.
In this course on Fire Safety and Equipment, you will learn essential principles necessary for ensuring safety in the event of a fire. The course will familiarise you with basic fire safety principles, including the fire triangle and fuel classifications, which are crucial for understanding how fires ignite and spread. You will also learn the appropriate steps to take should a fire occur, enabling you to respond effectively and safely.
Additionally, the course will cover the various types of fire safety equipment you may have at your disposal and provide guidance on how to use this equipment in the event of a fire.
This course is approximately 30 minutes and is separated into 4 modules, the last of which is a quiz in which you must achieve a score of 80% or more to pass.
