Course Overview
This CPD Certified online course on GDPR is aimed at those working in health and social care that come into contact with and handle personal data within an organisation.
This course provides the starting point for any data protection training and is aimed at those who handle personal data with an organisation.
The couse provides an introduction and some background to the new Data Protection Act and the GDPR which will be incorporated within this Act.
It talks about why the new legislation is being introduced; the similarities and differences betweeen the old regime and the new one; and the enchanced rights we all have in relation to the processing of our personal data.

Course Structure and Functionality
This course has been designed in a non-linear and modular fashion which means you may complete the units in any order you wish.
You progress will be tracked so don’t worry if you have to dip in and out. There will be a knowledge check at the end which will become available once you have completed all of the prescribed units.
The course also contains the following content functionality to help the learner become immersed and to reinforce their learning:
- Drag and drop words – to complete sentences.
- Drag and drop reordering – reorder the following steps according to said policy.
- An assorted array of “custom pages” i.e. scene exploration and “gamified” scenarios.
