Course Objectives

This Abestos Awarenss online course will enable you to:

• Explain why asbestos is dangerous and the associated health risks
• Show the different types of asbestos materials and the common locations of these materials in buildings
• Advise on general control measures when working with asbestos
• Teach how to deal with a potential contamination

All employees/contractors who are liable to encounter or disturb asbestos materials.

A RoSPA Approved Course

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation, vet and approve health and safety training courses, giving learners increased confidence.  The RoSPA stamp of approval gives organisations the confidence that a training course has been rigorously assessed and meets the RoSPA approved standards.

• Subscription Licence – a licence for a maximum number of users to access any course in a specified bundle;
• Site Licence – a licence to install one course, or one or more bundles of courses on your own learning management system. The site licence consists of a number of enrolments to use on any course for any learner in the bundle;
