World Menopause Day is a day to reflect on what has been achieved to improve the lives of millions of women around the world and how much more can be done.
The deafening silence that surrounded the menopause is now a thing of the past; we are at least talking about it more openly. More women, those close to them, health professionals and employers have a better understanding of perimenopause, menopause and post menopause. But, there is still so much more to do to ensure that women going through the menopause are appropriately supported in their personal lives and at work, and that young women are better informed and prepared for this new phase in their lives.
Around the world menopause experts have been working to improve the lives of women. We’ve collated a selection of helpful resources for individuals and employers from organisations such as International Menopause Society, NHS, Pausitivity (Menopause UK Parliament Campaign), British Menopause Society, Menopause Matters, The Menopause Charity and Women’s Health Concern.
