It’s National Work Life Week 2024, which aims to get both employers and employees talking about well-being at work and work-life balance, and this year’s theme is flexible working.
Work-life balance is the harmony between our professional duties and our personal life, including time for ourselves, such as relaxation and hobbies. Maintaining this balance is important for reducing stress, improving mental health and preventing burnout. It also means we are more likely to enjoy our work, be more productive and have more time to spend with our families and friends which will make us feel more fulfilled and happy.
