What a fantastic evening the Elearning Marketplace team had at the West Berkshire Business Awards gala dinner at Newbury Racecourse. Around 300 guests enjoyed an evening to celebrate the diversity of business in West Berkshire from non-profits and startups to large government facilites and corporates. Thomas Plant, who regularly appears as the expert auctioneer on Bargain Hunt, hosted the evening and kept the guests in high spirits with his wit and humour.
We were absolutley delighted to be announced Creative Startup winners, from amongst the excellent finalists in this category.
The business awards were sponsored by Bayer, and it was Simon Greenstreet, Head of Communications at Bayer who judged the overall winner from the category winners. Simon said “the quality of businesses entering the West Berkshire Business Awards this year, surpassed previous years. With category winning businesses such as the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) as Employer of the year; local rising star, The West Berkshire Brewery as Rural of the year and new business start up winner, E-Learning Marketplace; it was hard to identify an overall winner on the night”
