London Schools of Sales: Aligning Sales Capability to Business Outcomes

We are delighted that the London School of Sales (LSOS) is now partnering with the eLearning Marketplace to sell their comprehensive suite of online Sales courses. To find out more about the company and its mission to ‘change the perception of sales from the inside out’, I caught up with Vinit Shah, Founder and Managing Director.

I started by asking Vinit how the London School of Sales got started and what he wanted to achieve.

“Business and entrepreneurship are in the family blood, and I always wanted to build something of my own. I gained my experience climbing the corporate ladder, gaining invaluable experience in a variety of commercial and operational roles”.

“As I approached 40, everything shifted, and I made the bold decision to leave the corporate world. I stepped away from security and dove into the world of small business. It was a steep learning curve. I branded myself as a sales problem solver, made plenty of mistakes, and learned even more. I quickly saw how many small businesses struggled with sales and how much they disliked selling”.

“That’s when it clicked: I was the product. My knowledge and experience in sales could help others. And just like that, the London School of Sales was born”.

What a really compelling realisation, and probably the best foundation for a successful business. It’s so often the case that personal experiences, both achievements and failures, can provide us with the perfect basis for helping others in similar situations.

I then asked Vinit if there was a specific problem businesses face that he aimed to solve. He said, “Yes, small and scaling businesses often struggle with sales and its negative perception. Hence, the company’s mission ‘to change the perception of sales from the inside out’. I was keen to find out how they do this, so Vinit explained, “Well, we create an environment where salespeople can thrive and have access to the tools, skills, and mindset needed to fully grasp the selling process and align their actions with their values and sales objectives”. And it certainly appears that they are achieving this:

“London School of Sales used a combination of learning resources, styles and exercises to deliver engaging and interactive sessions that focsed on relatable and applicable stories and examples.”

I asked Vinit what products and services LSOS offers:

  • LSOS Academy – Self-paced E-Learning courses structured around real sales challenges that are CPD certified, and available on the eLearning Marketplace.
  • SMART Selling Accelerator – For founders and managers ready to design a scalable sales system and lead with confidence.
  • Sales Team Training – For companies ready to upskill their team through curated, role-relevant face to face sales training.

“So your self-paced e-learning courses are these for a specific audience?” I asked. “No, they are suitable for individuals or groups across multiple industries and sectors” Vinit replied. He went on to say that the SMART Selling Accelerator is aimed at technology led b2b organisations.

Here at the eLearning Marketplace, we highly value partnerships with course publishers who have been recognised for the excellent work that they do, and LSOS is no exception, having won the 2025 SME Business Awards Silver Winner – Business of the Year award. Of course, it is equally important that they publish high-quality content that has excellent instructional design principles and are independently verified for quality. The LSOS online courses have been created using the VARK principles (Visual, Auditory, Read/Write, & Kinaesthetic). They are also accredited by CPD UK, which means that they have been independently verified by The CPD Certification Service to meet Continuing Professional Development standards, ensuring the course is high-quality, credible, and relevant for professionals. The accreditation provides assurance to learners and employers that the training is a valid and valuable use of time for professional development and that, upon completion, they can earn a certificate that counts towards their CPD hours.

On a final note, I asked Vinit if they seek feedback from customers on the courses that they have undertaken, and his response was, “We are constantly seeking out feedback to ensure we can update and adjust our course content. Feedback is our fuel! As a past trainer and awarding body training quality verifier, this was music to my ears; ongoing evaluation of courses to ensure they are up-to-date and meet the needs of customers is critically important.
