Course Overview:
This course introduces you to the fundamentals of Lean Six Sigma and will enable you to apply your learning as an active participant of Business Improvement in your organisation. The course will teach you why Lean Six Sigma is adopted by organisations and how it can transform the way they are run. You will learn about the DMAIC structure – Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control – getting an overview of these phases and learning about the tools and techniques used for each one.
This interactive course is optimised for desktops and tablets so you can learn when and where you want to. It consists of exercises, activities and quizzes and there is a multiple-choice exam at the end which you can take as many times as you need to.
On completion of this course you will have a better understanding of what Lean Six Sigma is and how its function as a Business Improvement method can increase efficiency, reduce waste and costs and improve quality both in working processes and end products. Completion of this Yellow Belt course does not qualify you to lead on improvement projects but you will be able to assist colleagues in the running of them.
This course is worth 10 CPD points.
