Why is this training important?
Food safety combines a number of practices to reduce health hazards. These include premises, hygiene, personal hygiene, risk control, pest control and waste management. This level 2 food safety course is about minimising the level of potential hazards in a food catering setting.
- Firm grasp of the importance of food safety and knowledge of the systems, techniques and procedures involved;
- Understanding of how to control food safety risks (personal hygiene, food storage, cooking and handling);
- Confidence and expertise to safely deliver quality food to customers.
Those learners who successfully complete the assessment and are deemed to have reached the pass mark are awarded a RoSPA and CPD certificate. Simply download and print the digital certificate (as many copies as you like).
