Description
FMEA is a technique used to anticipate what might go wrong in a process, system or new design and then put measures in place to either stop a problem from occurring in the first place or minimising damage if a problem has occurred. Failure modes is the term used for the ways a process, product, service or new design could fail, while effects analysis looks at the scale and consequences of those failures. Those trained in FMEA are invaluable to their organisation because preventing or halting failure can save huge amounts of time and money.
This course is fully interactive and includes exercises, activities and quizzes as well as a final exam which can be taken as many times as needed and some offline exercises to complete. The course is fully optimised for desktops, laptops and tablets so you can learn at your own pace when and where you want to.
On completion of this course you will understand the implications of failure in a business and be able to complete an FMEA yourself. Among the topics included are: using FMEA templates; a Quick Look example; and the FMEA Roadmap. You will gain the skills to put your learning into practice straight away and also communicate the benefits of adopting FMEA in your workplace.
