This e-learning course is intended for learners who want to find out about equality and diversity and to learn about how the Equality Act 2010 works to promote these concepts. They will be introduced to the nine ‘protected characteristics’ covered by the Act and to the impact the Act has had on the laws which were in place previously.

The course also looks at what is meant by discrimination and prejudice and the steps that can be taken to avoid these from arising within the workplace.
